1. Overview
This policy explains how you can cancel a StayMexa subscription and when refunds apply. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
2. Free trial
New Customers can use StayMexa free for 1 month. No payment is collected during the trial, so no refund applies. If you do not subscribe at the end of the trial, your account is paused and you can export your data.
3. Setup and customisation charges
One-time charges for onboarding, data migration beyond the standard scope, custom configuration, training or development work are non-refundable once the work has started.
4. Cancelling a monthly subscription
- You can cancel at any time before your next billing date.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month and you keep access until then.
- Fees already paid for the current month are not refunded.
5. Cancelling a yearly subscription
- You may cancel within 30 days of the yearly payment date for a refund of the unused months, minus any discounts received for paying yearly and any non-refundable charges.
- After 30 days, yearly subscriptions are not refundable, but you keep access until the end of the paid term.
6. How to cancel
Send a written cancellation request to billing@staymexa.online from the registered account email. Include the property name, account ID and the subscription you want to cancel. We will confirm the cancellation in writing.
7. Refund process
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 15 business days of approval. The time for the amount to reach your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
8. Non-refundable items
- Add-on modules and integrations once activated.
- SMS, WhatsApp and other usage-based credits already used.
- Third-party fees, such as payment gateway or OTA charges.
- Customisation and professional services already delivered.
9. Suspension for non-payment
If a payment fails or is overdue, we may suspend access after giving notice. Access is restored once dues are cleared. Suspension for non-payment does not entitle you to a refund.
10. Data after cancellation
You can export your data before your access ends. After that, data is retained and deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
