StayMexa ("StayMexa", "we", "us", "our") is a property and vacation rental management platform (the "StayMexa Platform") owned and managed by Webilns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit staymexa.online, request a demo or trial, or use the StayMexa property management software and related apps (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this policy.
2. Definitions
- Customer means the hotel, rental, restaurant or business that subscribes to StayMexa.
- User means any person who uses the Services, including a Customer's staff.
- Guest means a person whose booking or stay is managed by a Customer through StayMexa.
- Personal information means any information that identifies or can reasonably identify a person.
3. Scope
This policy applies to visitors of our website, people who contact us or request a demo, and Users of the Services. When a Customer stores Guest data in StayMexa, the Customer controls that data and we process it on the Customer's behalf and instructions.
4. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, designation, email, phone or WhatsApp number, property name, type, size, city and other details you enter in our forms.
- Account information: login details, user roles, and property and billing details of the subscribing business.
- Guest and operational data: reservations, guest names, contact details, ID documents, folios, payments and other records that Customers enter or import.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, actions in the app, and log data used for security and troubleshooting.
5. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and support the Services.
- To respond to enquiries, schedule demos and set up trials.
- To process subscription billing and send invoices and service notices.
- To secure the Services, prevent fraud and investigate misuse.
- To improve features, performance and user experience.
- To send product updates and offers, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
6. Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, email, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, and payment gateways, under confidentiality obligations.
- With channel managers, OTAs and other integrations that a Customer chooses to connect.
- When required by law, court order or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of StayMexa, our Users or others.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how our website is used. We may use analytics and advertising tools that set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.
8. Data storage and transfers
Data is stored on secure cloud servers. Some service providers may process data outside your country. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the data receives a level of protection consistent with this policy and applicable law.
9. Data security

We keep personal information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the Services. After a subscription ends, Customers may export their data. We delete or anonymise account data within a reasonable period after termination, except where we must keep records for legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
11. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, or raise a grievance. Guests should first contact the property that holds their booking. To make a request, write to privacy@staymexa.online. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
12. Third-party links
Our website and Services may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies before sharing information with them.
13. Children
The Services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are significant, we will notify Customers by email or in the app.
